The Bigallo Hostel offers its guests the opportunity to stay among the hills of southern Florence, immersed in a one of a kind natural context closely connected to the territory and its traditions and uniqueness. The medieval building dates back to the 13th century, when it was created as a hospital and reception center for pilgrims.
Guests can relish in the peace and quiet of the surrounding hills and the green of the olive trees while taking in a picturesque view of nearby Florence, easy to reach by bus or by car in only a few minutes.
Although recently renovated and equipped with all comforts, Bigallo, nevertheless, maintains its characteristic medieval atmosphere.
It is ideal for large organized groups as it has two dormitories with bathrooms and six private double and triple rooms each with private bathroom for a total of 52 beds. It has a beautiful garden and a panoramic terrace along with various common areas for meetings, workshops and other activities.
Large groups will find the structure particularly comfortable and versatile for all needs (activities or workshops), while families and small groups will find it a place that is full of cultural and social events and activities.
