The Refectory of the “Antico Spedale del Bigallo” welcomed the pilgrims passing through the area since 1250 and was later transformed into a Benedictine Monastery in 1502. The hall is about 150 square meters (7,50 x 20) and has been perfectly restored with authentic terra cotta flooring, a beautiful decorated coffered ceiling, and a showcase with archeological finds.

There is also a small pulpit in the right wall of the hall that is accessible through a stairway in the wall.

The hall is striking and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

It is used for weddings (including civil wedding ceremonies) and is suitable for all types of ceremonies and cultural events (including musical and theatrical events) as well as for recreational purposes (receptions, communions, anniversaries, tastings, business meetings, etc.). It is also possible to set up the hall for art exhibits and shows, conventions, meetings, seminars, conferences and more. The maximum capacity is 100 and there are two bathrooms available for guests on the ground floor.
